Challenge Quilts for West Sound Quilter's 2015 Show

I like Challenges...this year for the Panel Challenge I submitted two, read under the picture the statement included with each.

#1 If the Shoe Fits

I like challenges! And I like to incorporate more elements, so in addition to the panel idea, it isn't traditional (labels) and implied as well as literal texture (decorator, corduroy, shirting). A final element is the panel parts are pockets with appropriate quotes and treasures tucked inside...check it out!

#2 Stonehenge Raven Retreat

I like challenges! After completing the first one I was planning for a sew weekend with a friend in Alaska and realized we should do the panel challenge. We came up with an idea using the Stonehenge Medallion panel I found previously and ravens created by another friend. Then we each made our own interpretation of our joint design. Later, while doing some research, I discovered that ravens and Stonehenge often occur together, nice additional element for our challenge.
